eFarming is the leading Agri-EdTech platform connecting experienced farmers, agribusiness professionals, and industry experts to learners seeking practical agricultural knowledge. These Guidelines will guide you through everything you need to become a verified and successful Tutor on the platform.
1. Becoming a Tutor
1.1 Who Can Become a Tutor?
Anyone with real-world experience or professional knowledge in:
- Crop production
- Animal/livestock production
- Agribusiness & entrepreneurship
- Export, food processing, or value addition
- Soil science & regenerative agriculture
- Farm management
- Agro-technology, drones, irrigation, greenhouse
- Baking, Culinary Services
- Branding, storytelling, digital marketing for agriculture
- Agri-tech and innovation
1.2 Requirements
To be accepted, you must:
- Have minimum 2 years practical experience or documented expertise.
- Provide a clear course outline.
- Provide a 60-second to 5-minute sample intro video.
- Be able to communicate clearly & confidently.
- Record in 1080p, with clean sound & good lighting.
- Be willing to follow eFarming's quality standards.
2. Application Process
2.1 Step-by-Step Application

- Review by eFarming content team

- Start production & upload lessons
3. Creating High-Quality Courses
3.1 Filming Requirements
- Resolution: 1080p+ (Preferred 4K)
- Lighting: natural light or soft LED ring light
- Sound: lapel mic or noise-free phone mic
- Background: tidy, farm environment preferred
- No background noise (wind, machines, animals)
3.2 Teaching Guidelines
- Speak slowly, clearly
- Provide real demonstrations
- Use storytelling
- Include case studies
- Add mistakes to avoid
- Include cost breakdown where possible
4. Payment & Revenue Share
- Tutors earn through revenue share, based on course sales and platform incentives.
- Payments are disbursed monthly.
- A tutor dashboard will show earnings, student analytics, and engagement reports.

7. Course Quality Standards
All tutors must:

- Avoid vague content
- Provide at least one real demonstration
- Ensure accuracy of information
- Provide cost breakdowns when relevant
8. Content Ethics
Tutors must not:
- Mislead students
- Share false data
- Promote illegal practices
- Endorse harmful chemicals
- Attack or insult other tutors or brands
9. Communication Standards
Tutors should:
- Be clear and audible
- Avoid long unnecessary stories
- Use simple English
- Engage students with examples
- Be professional and respectful
10. Upload & Delivery Requirements
Course landing page must have: a compliant course image, a course title & subtitle (with relevant keywords), a description (≥ 400 words), a defined intended learners section, and a complete instructor bio + profile photo.
- Maximum file size: 1GB for lesson videos
- Video resolution: 1080p minimum
- Background noise: must be controlled
- Modules must be uploaded in correct order
- Include lesson resources and assessments where necessary
11. eFarming Rights
eFarming reserves the right to:
- Request tutors to re-title or re-organize modules
- Request re-shoot if quality is low
- Remove tutors who violate guidelines

- Revenue share (60% when a sale comes directly through the unique referral link and 30% when it comes through the platform URL)

Tutor Licensing & Intellectual Property Policy
1. Course Licensing Overview
All content uploaded by tutors to eFarming is governed under a Non-Exclusive Content License Agreement. This ensures:
- Tutors retain ownership of their original content.
- eFarming receives the right to host, distribute, promote, and monetize the content on the platform.
- Tutors cannot request removal of content that has already been purchased by students.
- The license protects both the tutor and the platform.
2. Tutor Ownership Rights
Tutors maintain ownership of scripts, videos, images, lesson materials, practical demonstrations, teaching style, voice, and likeness. Your content remains yours, even after uploading to eFarming (except for Premium Partners who co-produce courses with the eFarming Production Team).
3. License Granted to eFarming
By uploading content, the tutor grants eFarming a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-based license to:
- Host and display the content on the platform
- Use the content for marketing, promotional materials, and social ads
- Translate or subtitle the content for international students
- Sell or distribute the content to students
- Bundle the content in course packages
4. Restrictions & Prohibited Use by Tutors
Tutors must NOT:
- Upload content they do not own
- Use copyrighted music, images or videos without permissions
- Re-upload content belonging to another instructor
- Use AI-generated content
- Upload content that includes private information about other people
Tutors are fully responsible for the originality of their work.
5. Licensing for Off-Platform Use
Tutors may post their content on their own social media, but cannot upload full course modules offered on eFarming on a free streaming platform, or compete with eFarming using the same course structure. They may share previews, trailers, excerpts, behind-the-scenes, and short-form clips.
6. Revoking or Updating a License
Tutors cannot revoke the license for content already purchased by students. However, tutors may unpublish a course from the marketplace or update a lesson video. eFarming may review updated content after an update.
7. Platform Licensing Protections
eFarming will:
- Never sell a tutor's course to a third-party platform without explicit agreement
- Never transfer tutor content to another company
- Never claim ownership of the tutor's intellectual property
- Protect tutor identities and brand assets
8. Trademark & Brand Licensing
Tutors may use the eFarming brand only for promoting their courses, displaying "eFarming Tutor" on their profiles, and marketing their achievements. Tutors may not create merchandise using the eFarming logo, claim to represent eFarming in legal/official matters, or host events on behalf of eFarming without permission.
9. Compliance With International IP Laws
eFarming and its content creators agree to fully comply with all applicable international intellectual property laws and standards, including copyright, trademark, and related rights protections.
- Ownership or Authorization: All submitted content must be originally created by the tutor or properly licensed. Unauthorized use of protected content may result in removal, account action, or legal consequences.
- Respect for Third-Party Rights: Content must not infringe on any third-party rights, including copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of publicity/privacy, patents, or trade secrets.
- International Law Adherence: eFarming content shall respect frameworks including the Berne Convention, WIPO treaties, and applicable regional and national IP laws.
- Takedown and Enforcement: If eFarming receives a legitimate IP infringement claim, it reserves the right to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material. Repeated or egregious infringements may result in suspension or termination.
- Good Faith and Legal Accountability: All parties must act in good faith. Misuse of IP enforcement procedures may expose the claimant to legal liability under applicable laws.
